Doctoral Student

Yen-Cheng is currently a Ph.D. student at the Graduate Institute of Clinical Medicine, National Taiwan University. He received his M.Sc. from the Graduate Institute of Brain and Mind Sciences and his B.S. in Occupational Therapy, both from National Taiwan University. His research focuses on the organization and dynamics of functional brain networks in autism spectrum disorder (ASD). In particular, he investigates how the spatial distance between neural signals shapes resting-state functional connectivity and whether these distance-dependent patterns are altered in individuals with ASD. By combining functional magnetic resonance imaging, network neuroscience, and computational modeling, he aims to understand the neural mechanisms underlying ASD from a neuroscience perspective.
